Who is planning on doing the ride this Saturday? I plan on going, since that is where I grew up. I did escape to Dallas area in '68, but still lots of family back there. Here's hoping the weather cooperates.

This is one of my favorite rides for long distances.  Its scenic, cooler (Than August), relatively flat (With climbs near Mother Neff state park), Well supported, and you get tons of free candy at one of the stops.

We are going with members of my son's scout troop again this year, although we have been asked to ride the 26 with some of the younger boys. Should still be a fun time, especially if the heat breaks as it is predicted to do. We will be camping at Lake Waco on Friday and Saturday.

Just found out that some upright friends of mine are going and I went to school at Baylor.  I think I'm going to join in this year as well!  I'll be there on my Musashi.  :)

I'll be there doing the 65 mile ride. I did the 100 last year. It was a great ride. There are some pretty good climbs.

Unfortunately I have a parade to be in that weekend, mandatory bicycle participation this year.
