Richard R, at least four of us are going to do the Plano Eastside Ride tomorrow morning. Come ride with us.

You guys planning on doing this again on Saturday (7/23)? Doesn't look like any pay rides that are close that weekend. I'm planning on being there assuming the in-laws take the kids this weekend as planned.

Let us know the next time you are definitely going to do the Ride, and I'll bring my Musashi.

Didn't ride it on today's ride. Letting my bruises from falling over on the past two Eastside rides heal. Probably should have ordered a short wheelbase bike, so I wouldn't have as big a heel strike problem as I currently have with the bike. A lot of stops and starts and slow turns on the Ride that greatly up the chance of having a heel strike severe enough to put me and the bike horizontal on the pavement.

Ouch, sorry to hear that Jay! I also have some heel strike problems with my Musashi but they're exacerbated by the fact that mine is shorter than even the short model: I had to have an inch hacked off the frame to fit my stubby little legs. :-P I've gotten used to starting/stopping without a ton of problems anymore after about 800 miles on the bike now...

I am going to try to do the Eastside ride on the 6th (this coming Saturday). I'll come back later this week to confirm.
