danged thing.

I finally got around to putting on the fender I got for the Fusion to alleviate the shortcomings (literally) of the previous fender. My complaints with the previous fender were lack of coverage over the top of the tire which allowed spray to come off the tire and get my face and the headlight with dirty water and road gunk [smiley=twitchy.gif]

I used a second Wald rear fender that I cut down to fit and drilled additional mounting holes for a second stay to prevent bouncing and rattling. I also cut a mudflap from a milk jug to catch gunk off the bottom from getting on the bike while providing a more forgiving structure to catch on a curb when exiting Garland's idea of bike parking. Like I said, about 14 hours of measuring, cutting, and drilling to produce something that you need a picture to see the difference between what I had before and what I have now.
