I would like to invite Rbent to join John Schlitter of Bacchetta along with Steve and Peggy Petty to come and ride with us on Wednesday June1 at 6:30 in Frisco.The ride is about 30 miles, we ride from Luigis Pizza on Preston to Craig ranch. Ones at Craigs ranch we ride a 3 mile loop (2 to 4 laps depending on your speed) then we regroup and all rode back to Luigis for dinner.This ride is part on a great local club here in Frisco(Shawnee Trail Cycling club) . More details can be found on there website. If you can't made the ride come join us for dinner around 8:15 or so. Hope to see some of you on Wednesday.

I saw the subject and thought maybe it was a fill in the blank question, so I'm going to go with ... butt whuppin'

Shellene and I will be there tomorrow night, should be a good evening for a ride, and a good group to ride with.

As a heads up, it might not be pretty... I managed to barely slip past him while he was off taking a *swim* at Bessies Creek 24hr last Sunday... I had to crank that last lap with everything I had to hold him off. Not sure how he's taking it. :^)

I'm not sure how valid a win it is if I beat him because he was taking a swim, but I'm going with it anyway. Figure that's the only chance I'd ever have to beat him, fairly or not...

And of course you can bet he's gonna read this now...

Heading out on the last lap, Tom (crew) asked if I wanted him to let the air out of John's tires when he came through. I yelled back "You Bet!" as I rolled off. Never heard if he managed it or not.

You need to fire your crew, he should have done that without even asking.

Funny story: during the Tejas 500 Shellene was crewing for both John and I, and all she would tell either or us was "He's somewhere ahead of you", or "He's somewhere behind you".

Sounds really familiar... John was back on the course for two laps before they told me he was out again. I knew I was two laps ahead of anyone else so figured I could take it easy the rest of the race. Then they finally tell me after he's banged out two more high-speed laps... Wanted to wring a few necks.

John was on a Corsa he has built out for Dirty Kanza 200 mile off road race this weekend. But tonight he was on his very fast CA2.0.
Its alway great to have John here in town with us.
