Title: Lancaster Rally, Sat Apr. 9th
Post by FlyingLaZBoy on Mar 24th, 2011, 8:55pm

The annual GDB Lancaster Rally is in two weeks...  $25....  this is always a good route, with good scenery and challenging hills on occasion.  Three length options.  I'll be working On Site Registration, so stop by and say hello!!!

If you're a breakfast person, like the Clowns, come early to purchase ($6) pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice from the Boy Scouts. They will be at the First United Methodist Church, 201 South Dallas Avenue, across the street from the town square starting at 7am.

Wish I could go, but the Catrike HOT rally is in Austin that weekend!

Alexis and I will be there.  This is always one of the better rallies, IMO.

I'll be there, this time on a bike with appropriate gearing. Didn't have to walk any hills last year, but I sure thought about it.  :)

Sorry to miss this one but I'm committed to the Hot Rally. I'm so sorry they are on the same weekend this year. Lancaster is one of my favorite rides.

I plan to ride after working the start with John and Heidi Gillard.

I'll probably ride the 63 mile route after we close down Registration, with a few other GDBers

Ya'll have fun.  I got Texas State Guard duty next weekend so I won't get to make this ride.  Tell everyone in Ferris hello.  Spent most of my summers there with my Grandparents.

I'll be resting up for the LSR 100k populaire Sunday.  Not-so-hilly course and counts toward P-12.  Oh, also it's an open ride.  Bob M.

Quartering winds for over half of the 42-mile route and a tail wind the rest of the way. Would be perfect  conditions for a vintage RANS Sailtrike.  :)

No, but when I get really old I may try to find one to ride during the windy months of the year.   ;D
