Headed down for the Bike Through the Forest and the Hills in Coldspring, Texas for tomorrow's ride starting at 0800.  Wish me strong tail winds both directions. [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Rode the ride today and met Mark for the first time.  Saw him on his way back filming,  Should be some great video.  Saw 4 recumbents on the ride.

The weather was GREAT and NO WIND, but there were a TON of hills.  I was wore out after 33 miles.

I think I might come back next year as well.

That was an excellent ride although I didn't think the hills were bad at all except for the last one entering Coldspring. I was screaming down the south routes. Apparently that was the warmest ride they've run it and one guy told me last year it was in the 30's with a strong north wind.

One of the ride marshals is a Bacchetta Carbon Aero rider over in Richmond
