Title: Texas Time Trials
Post by Killer Bee on Sep 19th, 2010, 5:48pm

So who's coming to the Texas Time Trials? AND who is riding at the TT's?  I know Peggy, Nelson, Ray, & myself are riding for sure. Nelson, Peggy & I marked the course yesterday evening. There are several white arrows at turns, etc...painted on the pavement. Follow the arrows & you'll be fine. Nelson even painted mile markers every mile for those that need SAG support.

For those riding & volunteering, way to step up & support a local cycling event. Thank you. As you ride by riders, encouragement is very much appreciated.

Good luck to all, ride safe & have fun.

-Steve

Bryan and I will be there.  My plan was to crew for Gregg and Sandy, but I haven't heard any late news - You guys still racing?

Bryan is volunteering and if no one needs me as crew, I will volunteer also.

Go RBENT riders! We are all going to be cheering for you  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Sandy needs crew, as well as Chris and the bunch coming with 'em.  I'll be crewing at some point for sure as well.  I'm out of the race for sure.  I might bring the vk2 and do the 1-lap drag or something.

Why is that?  Everyone knows how much I love my kilt, and you've ezperienced NOTHING until you've hit 50mph on a lowracer wearing your kilt in the regimental style.

Actually, the sad thing is I've dropped so much weight my kilt no longer fits.  :(.  I need a new one.

I hate to tell you this Greg, but a kilt is not drag.

"Mom I must confess I am a mess
I wore a dress and went out to a redneck bar in Colorado"

Now that's drag!

I knock down trees, I eat my lunch, I go to the lava-tree.  On Sundays I go shoppin, and have buttered scones for tea!
