Title: Building a Winterbike.
Post by MrOverdressed on Sep 19th, 2010, 5:45pm

I would like to build a dual 26' bike like this homemade bike:

(from http://www.bentmike.com/Frankie.htm)

Using ideas from  http://www.recycledrecumbent.com

Tom do you do your own welding?

I guess I am the Tom you are asking about.  I have done all of the brazing on the first bike I built with a Propane Oxygen torch and I have ridden it several thousand miles with no problems.  The second bike I welded with a MIG electric welder.   I am waiting for cooler weather to  make a few changes on thelast bike, and I have gathered material for another long wheel base dual 26" wheel bike.

I would if he had a 26x26 version of the frame kit.  :)
