Title: V3 Steel decked out Post by kingjason on Jul 15th, 2010, 9:59pm Ok I am prob gonna sell my favorite bike ever and get an XStream. 07 or 08 I cant remember with decently low miles. Comes with a big bag, shorter pan seat ( I was told), Velocity Wheels, new X7 rear Derrailler, disc brakes, spare tubes and probably a couple of other things. Fresh tune and ready to go. 1200 firm. I also have spare rear disc wheel that needs some spokes but comes with it. Pic shows arched riser but now it has the factory straight one on it. Comes with both. I also have a Polar RS800CX Multi with GPS, speed and cadence sensors included. Probably a year old. Works great make offer on it. http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp330/kingjason2006/Bikes%20and%20parts/bikeandcover001.jpg |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by MrOverdressed on Jul 17th, 2010, 5:56am Im 6"2' with 46 xseam. What are my chances on fitting on it? Jason maybe you should make the V3 your winter bike. :) |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by kingjason on Jul 17th, 2010, 7:49am I think you would fit fineeee it has a big ole range. I will inspect better when I get home. |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by FlyingLaZBoy on Jul 17th, 2010, 10:01pm Terry, the X-seam range on the V3 supposedly goes up to 48.7", so you would fit... Even if you're going to install 200mm cranks... |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by kingjason on Jul 18th, 2010, 12:38am Yeah that is right. I am like 5 11 and it still has tons of room. Sorry I have been busy working on my Rock Crawler. |

Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by goldentouch on Jul 22nd, 2010, 6:49am I went by Jason's last night and looked at the V-3. It fits me and is what I am looking for. I will be picking it up this weekend. Thanks Jason |

Woohooo! Glad the suggestion worked out for you, Eddie! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by goldentouch on Jul 22nd, 2010, 5:29pm I believe that is about as close as I can get to an XStream until Rans makes one in my size. The V3 fits fine and I don't have a problem with the higher seat. Jason is a great guy and I enjoyed our visit. I think he has his mind set on an XStream also. Thanks Paul for your suggestion it really worked out great. [smiley=pepper.gif] |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by kingjason on Jul 22nd, 2010, 7:15pm Orrrr a Carbon 2.0, orrrrrrr heck I dont know yet. I think if my orignal 04 Corsa had a euromesh on it I would still have it so the debate is on. Bang for the buck XStream looks good but I would like to see if maybe a stick bike with a euro would be more to my liking. I remember I really liked my Gyro 20 after I put the euro on it also but dont have the space for two bikes. LOL Nice to meet you too and glad you liked it. It does fit you perfect and I bet there are not many bikes that do. LOL |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by Tim C. on Jul 22nd, 2010, 9:22pm Looks like goldentouch is adding to his stable. Who on this board has the most rideable bikes right now? |
Title: Re: V3 Steel decked out Post by goldentouch on Jul 23rd, 2010, 4:45pm When I pick up the V-3 that will give me 4 recumbents and I have 5 DF. [smiley=laugh.gif] |
