I'll be there - doing something between 40-60 miles

did I miss the early packet pickup?  it looks like they only had it on Saturday (6/12).  I guess I'll just get it morning of.

Some of the 2009 ride reviews report that the routes have bad chipseal. Even though the 700c wheels/tires on my Carbent handle chipseal as well as can be expected, I'm not going drive 1 hour to Italy to ride 50 or 60 miles on it. Think I'll try my Baron on the smooth roads of the GDB Airport Distance Builder ride, Saturday morning, instead.

I do recall it isn't the smoothest ride especially the route south, I "think" it's slightly better going west then north but don't quote me on that.

Helps if you have Kojaks :)

They're on order, already. If I can go over the wooden bridges at WRL without having my teeth almost shaken out of my head, as happens with the Stelvios, they'll receive my seal of approval. :)

Welp, since I can't do the 400k this weekend, I guess it's time to bring the vk2 out to the pay rides and open 'er up.

Do what I do and never take the bridges, I'm always on the roads including Mockingbird, helps with the speed runs.

BTW Found a spare 20" Stelvio that you can have

The Clowns like the scenic route (The Path), so I have to go over the bridges.

Well, Looks like I'm out.  the concert I was to attend tomorrow at 7 has been pushed to later that night, so I doubt I'll be home before midnight or 1, and that will make it tough to get up at 5am for the ride.  If I get home early I'll see y'all there.
