Title: Euromesh II seat, Ventisit pad, Brain Box Post by TonyWard on May 30th, 2010, 11:29am Just bought the Euromesh and Ventist pad and decided I don't like them. I find the Recurve seat much more comfortable - even if I have trouble reaching the ground at stops. Euromesh and Ventist have less than a half dozen rides on them ~ 200 miles or so. Seat is the Euromesh II, with the "clipped" front edges for better leg clearance. Pad is factory built for the Euromesh seat and is "standard" thickness. Asking price: Seat - $200 Pad - $75 get both - $250 Brain Bag ($30) is "well worn". I just put a small hole (less than the size of a dime) in the mesh pocket on the outside when I had my seat reclined too much and it rubbed on the rear tire. Willing to trade for a Big Bag if anyone is interested. PM or email me @ a_mward@hotmail.com |

Title: Re: Euromesh II seat, Ventisit pad, Brain Box Post by TonyWard on May 30th, 2010, 5:31pm I'll give it a shot while I have the seat hanging around. Anyone have a pad hanging around that I can try out? I don't want to drop another $40 for a new one on this experiment. |
Title: Re: Euromesh II seat, Brain Box Post by TonyWard on Jun 8th, 2010, 9:34pm Broke down and ordered the standard Bacchetta pad - a lot better than the Ventist I had. However, I still prefer the Recurve. I guess I'm just a little out of the ordinary (of course we all knew that). So I have a Euromesh seat that is practically new hanging around in my garage that I wouldn't mind getting rid of for roughly what I paid. Euromesh Seat w/ standard pad - $215 Brain Box described above $30 I would prefer the Big Bag since it will fit the Recurve seat but in the mean time I'm going to keep using the Brain Box until I sell the Euromesh to fund new bike gear purchases. Let me know if you are interested. Thanks, Tony a_mward@hotmail.com |

Title: Re: Euromesh II seat, Ventisit pad, Brain Box Post by kingjason on Jun 9th, 2010, 9:00am Ooops I guess mine is called the sling mesh with a short stop seat pan or something like that. I always get the seats confused. LOL |
Title: Re: Euromesh II seat, Ventisit pad, Brain Box Post by TonyWard on Jun 11th, 2010, 2:07pm sold the seat - still have the Brain Box if anyone is interested. I could let this one go very cheap or trade for some other bike stuff (possibly tires?) if anyone is interested and needs the bag. If not - I'll hold onto it - never know when I might need it for something. |
