I saw that.  Anyone know how they ride?

I ride with a couple that has this tandem and they've ridden it for 4 or 5 years now.  They really like it but it is heavier than the AX version.  The AX version also has independent peddling and this one is connected peddling.  They've ridden this on RAGBRAI each year that they've had it and like it.  The seats are the Sun seats that are adjustable backs ( fore and aft) and the seats move up and back on the top frame bar of the tandem.  I've never ridden the tandem myself, but if it weren't comfortable, the wife wouldn't ride it.

We have several thousand miles on ours and still like it.

One that I saw a few years back had the rear seat removed and multiple panniers installed. I think they also had somehow removed the crank arms and only had the spiders left on the rear BB to run the triple and the timing chain. The dude could ride for something like a week without needing to stop to buy food or water, but he did have to unpack the stove and cook a couple of times a day ;D

I wish I would have spotted this.  I beat the daylights out of my tandem and would love to have a spare.  :)
