For sale: 2008 Performer Roadster

The Roadster is a blast to ride and I have enjoyed it, but I need funds, and with most of my riding being either commuting or randonneuring these days, this is the bike I ride least. A quick check of bikejournal shows that it has just over 2,000 miles on it, total. Performer's page on it is here (http://www.performer.com.tw/2009/product_info.php?products_id=44).

I ran it with the chain dropped, with just a Bacchetta idler under the seat. There is a place for a second idler on the head tube, and I'll include the original idlers. The only significant scratch is on the aluminum part of the frame, under the seat and behind the chain. I've included a photo below that shows it. The Velocity Uriel wheelset is almost new. I'm asking $1,500. If I need to ship it, I'll only charge actual shipping cost. It has:

Man, if only my kids would quit eating...I don't know how you guys go through so many bikes around here! Maybe I need a new job...

At least this is an inspiration for the next build. Great pics to get ideas!

Hope you can either sell this soon, or someday get to where I can afford it, Bud.

The Roadster is on its way to Florida.

I had thought it would be a long time before I replaced it, but now it's looking like that may happen this week. Maybe I should start a thread and invite everyone to guess what recumbent I'm getting. I'm thinking that no one would guess it...
