Yes.  I'm going through a divorce and needed the money.  The buyer is actually one of the previous owners and drove all the way from Wisconsin to pick it up.  He repaired it the first time after the original owner got broadsided in it and now he's fixing it again!  Must be nice to be a retired engineer.  [smiley=happy.gif]

Sorry about the D.

Yep that's the story I read over there.  Too bad I never got to see it...oh well.

Just to clarify things a bit. Fred (the original owner) spent about $100 to replace a wheel and some tie rods. The front wheels were still prone to move when the chassis hit a bump due to some cracks in the aluminum, so I strengthened the front wheel attachment points with a custom 1/4" piece of welded aluminum.

The latest repairs are complete and you can see then here http://www.bentrideronline.com/messageboard/showthread.php?t=59953 I really like that headrest Danny did.

It's faster than I remember as I hit 35 before the bottom of the hill I live on after braking twice. The Gold Rush needs a bigger hill to go that fast.

And yes it is good to be a retired engineer.
