Don't mention that in a room full of lung cancer advocates. They stay pretty miffed about the cubic dollars that breast cancer research raises, while lung cancer research stays consistently underfunded. It all depends on your perspective, though, I guess. After Rose's diagnosis, I'm pretty happy about all the research money that's been spent and progress that has been made with breast cancer.

Well, knowing what you've told me, I agree that lung cancer research is vastly underfunded and practically still stone-age medicine. I just appreciate the way our kids have really gotten into this and are doing something nice for SOMEONE.
