Title: Bacchetta Steering parts
Post by Hurricane Dan on Oct 9th, 2009, 1:11pm

OK, are you guys getting your Bacchetta steering components at Plano Cycle or online?  I am putting the OSS from the Saber on the R44 and converting the Saber to tweener bars.  I would like to see what the options are for sizes before I start measuring for optimum hand position.  I like the USS but I would have to make a coroplast body about 3 1/2 feet wide to not rub.

I have an 17 1/4" tweener bar. It way to narrow for me.

I would have to rub my legs together to use 17 1/4" bars!  I'm thinking maybe 24" but that's why I need to see what's available.  The hardest part will be the stem.  Anywho, here's a first sketch of the body I'm working on for the Vision R44.  It will be coroplast hot glued together on an aluminum frame.  I have to adjust the head position since I reclined the seat, but I may start framing this weekend if I can finish working out the details.
