This event will be held in Marshall, Tx, September 12th at 7:30 am, to raise money for Bob Patel, an avid cyclist who has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. More info here (http://www.marshallnewsmessenger.com/search/content/features/stories/2009/081609_WEB_Lifestyle_Patels.html).

I think I can get some fundage from my church on this one, if I can get a ride to the ride. I have the legs to do 50 miles, but not ride to Marshall and be able to ride any distance when I get there.

I have a dr's appt on that day (a doctor who will actually see you on a Saturday!) but I'll find a way to donate to the cause.
