I know LSR is doing a 200k brevet, but pilot point is too far away and too early a start for the summer for me. I see there's a charity ride in Granbury and the FWBA and GDB are doing their usual. What's on y'alls agenda?

Nothing special. Usual ride from the house around Keller, Roanoke, Trophy Club, Southlake, etc. Good roads, little traffic, lots of hills, crummy 4 cyclinder engine on bike :)

The bro-in-law and I will be leaving town tomorrow from City Cyclist about 9:30 after picking up his Gold Rush. Will get to Garrison, North Dakota on Saturday for the CANDISC ride. With luck I hope the weather holds. They've been having highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. DJ

Route for the Granbury ride seemed to be over roads with weekend traffic, Thorp Springs, etc.
The next weekend (8-9) is Melon Patch at DeLeon. Hoping I can get introduced to riding in a group there.

Just for reference, I'm planning to do the Plano Eastside ride this Saturday (Aug 8), riding to it up the 190 service road from the house... 8AM rollout from just east of PCF, out to Lavon Dam and back, conversational ~16 mph pace.
