Title: Best seat for watching fireworks

Sitting on your 'bent, riding into town to complete a hot, difficult 300k.  Can't ask for better!

pitfall:  watch out for the sunburned lips.  I now look like I've had my a-s injected into my lips  :-*

I actually had a pretty nice seat for watching fireworks.  Circling at about 2000 feet overhead with my son-in-law and my grandson in a Vintage Howard DGA aircraft.

When we popped up off the ground at 9:45 ish, we could see several major fireworks displays as well as all the individual fireworks going off all over the place.  Ended up circling around the ones at the Canyon West Golf Course west of Weatherford.

Somebody was flying a small plane around the Rowlett fireworks on the 3rd...  thought it would be a nice place to view things from!

I have heard that is a fire regulation that a plane has to be in the air to watch for fires.   I do not know for sure but I have seen a plane every time I have watched fireworks.
