Rode up to do the Plano Eastside ride today, got in a nice 50+ miles for the morning. The Eastside ride is nice, in that it's fairly low traffic, and the pace is kept at about 16.

I split off for home after we returned to Wylie, and had a couple interesting things happen:

Unique mailbox in front of a propane company

I encountered a farmer produce stand on a corner of the road, and stopped to get a few things to take home. Another guy was there buying stuff, and he asked about my bike, saying he had a Colnago road bike and does ~20 mile rides. I asked if he'd ever sat on a 'bent, and invited him to try it. He was immediately able to take it ~1/4 mile down the side road and back, with no problem, saying "Wow, this is GREAT!!"

With all the shots of roadkill, perhaps you need to either:

A) Open a Backwoods Restaurant or
B) Become a taxidermist.

This HUGE frog made it! The frog choker you guys almost rode in last Wednesday left this guy at our porch:

He was so big that when I picked him up I couldn't get both hands all the way around him. Now that's a frog!
