That's precisely the failure mechanism I had on the Specialized "Pro" 1" tires... on two in a row, thus they lost a customer.

I've successfully used the Ultremo's since I purchased the Xstream. No problems. I love these tires. Fast, light, great rolling resistance.

Thanks for the info Steve. I have the Ultremo's on my Hed H3 wheels, and don't have many miles on them. I'll check them out tonight.
