Title: RIDE OF SILENCE  MAY 20th
Post by jman on May 4th, 2009, 9:26pm

I would like to ride the Dallas ROS again this year if they will be at White Rock Lake again.

Anyone else interested in making it? [smiley=whistling.gif]

I'll be at WRL with red and black arm bands. [smiley=cry.gif]

Key Largo was there on his Catrike 700 and I was there on my Corsa. We were in the middle of the pack. Didn't see you. Did you make it?

I was surrounded by rabid fans of my blog, and could hardly do anything all during the ride. [smiley=shocked.gif] Actually I was up almost on the bumper of the cop car leading the ride, showing off how well Gigi climbed 8-) It was interesting watching the other bikes "going backwards" as the road tilted up a bit. I was hearing lots of huffing and puffing around me as I just barely got my heart rate going.

No wonder I didn't see you.  [smiley=grin.gif]

It was a little dicey back in the pack. A lot of stopping and starting, riding at almost stall speed, and inexperienced riders weaving around in close quarters. The Corsa was a poor choice. Next year I will take my trike.
