I thought you said you had beer in the Brain Bag? All I see is carbonated water that is vaguely beer favored.

Bummer that the MS office killed day 2, I understand why but then the weather pulled a cruel trick and cleared up just to be the final insult to the injury so to speak. Were y'all able to take your bikes home
or did they get stuck in one of the transport trucks. I got an email saying all bikes would have to be picked up at the MS office.

Jman, all the members of our team had their bikes returned within a few hours after the deluge.

Corsa ken, you didn't see any of that garbage beer in my brain box.  I observe the German purity laws, which corporate breweries have stepped all over. Micro breweries all the way.

Flavored??  SCENTED, perhaps, but not really "flavored"...   ;)

I guess the truest test of a serious beer drinker is how much fun he makes of every other brand except for the one he drinks...

I think it's kinda like football.  I'm a fan of the Cowboys and anyone playing the Jets!

The only time I like the Jets is when they are playing the Cowboys, Eagles or Giants   [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

Yeah ,flavored with HOPS. A strong IPA all the way ,which makes me a hop head. AND no girl flavored Lemon Aid beer either. That's just embarrassing.

I'm right there with you EV. Not a fan of the boyz!

For the uninitiated JAX was brewed in La. not really sure it is still being brewed any longer. Shiner is a good back up though  [smiley=cheers.gif] too bad I can't manage much of the good stuff now days, I have miles and miles to ride and so many more recumbents to buy along the way. Priorities and low funds ya know.

I rarely drink, because I only drink with friends around  - occasionally a good kentucky bourbon after work, wine with a special dinner or if I'm at the in-laws, a gin martiniif I'm out on the town.

For hanging with my homies it's gotta be a good brew though.  I drink so rarely that it's gotta be top shelf, though I'm not much for the bitterness of IPAs.  Give me a microbrewed hefeweizen or ale.  The lower brewing temp seems to make all the difference to me.

I gotta say though, there's always something good about a < 32* beer on a hot sweaty day after a bike ride.
