Title: What's going on Saturday?
Post by aikigreg on Apr 28th, 2009, 10:51pm

I actually have my first Saturday off in forever and I dunno what to do with myself.  Anything going on that I can join in on?

I think some rbenters are doing the MS150 thing. I plan on spending the day at Lake Fork. I may ride somewhere Sunday.

There's a rumor that Steve may lead a permanent the following Saturday.

Well, the UIL has officially shut down all competitions for the next 2 weeks with the swine flu scare going on, so I'm guaranteed the next 2 Saturdays off.  I'll also ride Sunday so if you want company, Bud, let me know.

Yes, ride MS(not called the MS 150 anymore ,not sure why)is this weekend. Weather permitting ,I would like to ride a certain route the following Saturday(If I'm mentally/physically up for it).

This is Steve signed in as Peggy. I'm being lazy. I didn't want to walk ALL the way to my office to get my laptop.

I think the weather needs to improve soon!  Some people need to be out riding there bikes rather than thinking about underwear options!   :P

I'm so glad I was riding through that rainstorm instead of having to consider these topics in my downtime  [smiley=puking.gif].

EV, and you call yourself the "thread killer".  No one can pull the air brakes on a perfectly harmless thread like me.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Well, in spite of Manimal's best efforts, I am getting the thread back on topic ;)

Since no one seems to have anything forthcoming, I'm riding the Granbury South ride with the FWBA.  details can be found bwlow.  Come out and join me if you have time.

My wife just had her 4 wisdom teeth out this morning.

I just came home on 380 and there are electronic signs that say:

"Bicyclist ahead caution"
"Sam's Club MS Ride"
"May 2 - May 3"

I *just* made it.  We were rained on the last 20 miles, which is annoying as crap for those of us who have 4 eyes.  Had to be VERY careful because the brakes were too wet to be of much help and I didn't want to go around the many 90* corners at 20+ mph.  Just as I got everything loaded and was about to get into the car the thunder and lightning started and the heavens opened up.

My boat got a very good washing as I was coming home from Fork this afternoon. It survived better than the Cowboys' practice facility did.
