I'm leaning towards the April 5 date, especially since it's Bud's birthday, but I'm hosting this for RBENT, not for myself, so one last vote. I hate to leave anyone out in the cold, but you KNOW we won't be able to acommodate everyone. Still, this is such a great time every year, and we don't get together NEARLY often enough. So please make EVERY effort to join.

Please everyone vote for both days if you can make both.

I will leave the voting up until Wednesday.

Foo & I won't be able to make either of those dates. On April 5th, we have the MS 1.5 Kid's Bike Challenge in Allen, and on May 2, it's the MS 150. Maybe we can make in the fall. Sorry guys.

With the MS150 being May 2, that's probably another reason to lean towards April 5...

For myself and Angie, and I'm sure Steve and Peggy as well; neither date will work. We have MS150 events on both dates.

April 5 is currently family portrait day, but I should be done by noon and able to at least make it over for lunch. If you do it on the 5th I will try to get Marci to move portait day, all though I am not sure how sucessful I will be.

We are such a diverse group, spread out over such a large area, that it always seems to be tough to get a very large group of us together at once. But I would love to see everyone who can make it, and hope everyone makes it who can. We don't get to do these gatherings often enough.

Agreed. But looking at the schedule between LSR and Bicycle stuff there are too many events that people are likely to be involved in almost every other weekend in April and May, and then we're into full cycling season with something every weekend.

Someone needs to host a similar event in the fall. Maybe like Terry Pickl did at White Rock lake last year. We can call it the Bent Festivus (for the rest of us)

I assume this is going to be on 4/5, so what time are you planning on Starting? I think a fall event would be great as well. I would be happy to work with Terry on providing food.

I did several picnics at WRL. they whernt RBET exclusive events. I would just poick a weekend and invite everyone under the sun. The first picnic I did was really an excuse to see Gregs new (now long gone) Tica. Rodney, lets pick a sunday afternoon in April and see who shows up. :)

I'm calling this off for now. Too few people wil be able to attend. Maybe we can do it later in May - I'm open to real suggestions.
