Ray and I road this new short permanent starting at Lake Ray Roberts Marina, heading down 10 miles of the Greenbelt Corridor trail, then up to Pilot Point through Aubrey and then heading back. I slowed us down taking pictures, and I think we were faster on the trail than on the road into the North headwind, so we were close to the time limit. This is a pretty scenic route for anyone with some wider tires in the mix (we rode 32mm and were fine).

I'd like to try this route on my Stratus XP sometime.

Definitely take your camera! There are a couple of low gates we had to hop over on behind the dam as well, but it should't be too much of an issue even on the XP.
