Title: 21st Annual Freeze Your Fanny at Longview Post by mleuck on Feb 7th, 2009, 5:18pm Fun ride north of Longview Texas with maybe 200+ riders, I guess the freezing part cost extra since it was in the 70's today. I used to live in Longview so some of the roads seemed familiar. Not a bad ride although the last half had quite a few hills and it looks like I need a little more work on my climbing. I think I saw 6 other recumbents although I didn't know any of them. One memorable incident involved outrunning a pace line of 20 riders, when will they learn? 59.4 miles 3 hours 7 minutes 2,940 feet total ascent 19.0 mph average A few pictures at www.lifeonabaron.blogspot.com |
