This morning 5 Riders met at Bqrbec's at 8:30 a.m. Unfortunately the First clown was not there because the temp was 35 degree at his house. And as a rule the temp is about 5 degrees colder going down the trail.
Too bad I expect that the others had a great time.

Bqrbec? Is that closer then the trinity trail entrance y'all use.
5 is alot for an AM ride and it could have been 6.. What is a few degrees anyhow just make sure to use the other cyclists to shield yourself from the wind. [smiley=wink.gif]

Barbec's is at White Rock Lake.
AND it was six because another rider was waiting at TP hill.

Oh I'm getting the rides mixed up. White rock lake is certainly father away the trinity. 6 eh that is a pretty big crown for white rock.. Is it pretty busy with these temps? My wife was suprised at the amount of traffic in the flower mound parks when she was out this morning in 36 degree weather.

I can't answer for today but we rode Tuesday and there was hardly anybody out there. Especially early in the morning. And it wasn't as cold.

Since the first clown missed the ride yesterday, clowns 2 and 3 organized a makeup ride for today.
After all we didn't want to miss the promised nice weather for Friday.
Saturday looks like a loss anyway.
On the ride we met Richard and his wife on their tandem Trike.

Mid 40's is around 3AM. It is predicted to drop to around freezing by 9AM.

I guess my thermometer must be broke. It still says 36 degrees. No wait.... One of them (I have three) just went to 37 degree.
I guess a real clown wouldn't have a problem with that
