Title: Honey Do 201K Permanent 12/6 0730
Post by Kwijybow on Dec 1st, 2008, 10:19pm

Hi Folks,

so far Sharon Stevens, Daniel Schaaf, George Elizondo, Peggy, Steve, and me.  All are welcome, just drop me a line or reply so I can make sure I have you covered with a cue and a card, or send you the files if you like.  We can sign the waiver the morning of.

Peggy, Bud, Ray, John Droese, George and I enjoyed this one first weekend of Dec 07, so why not again this December?  So far the weather is looking pretty good.

Take Care,
Nelson.

Nice! going to be a pretty big group.  You guys looking to tear it up or amble along, will determine if I bring the Tour Easy or the Corsa.

Take Care,
Nelson.

"Chop-chop". I wouldn't mind a faster pace.

I think I'm already booked into something at 4PM, so I'm probably going to pass on this one.

A 28 degree wind chill is too cold for me. I'm going to bail on this ride and do something later in the morning.

I've not left my house all week except to go to the Dr. on Tuesday.  I'm going nutz....

Steve, since you're developing into our strongest rider, how about if you pull me in a wagon on tomorrow's 200k perm?  I can use my crutches like ski poles and help push us along?

                                                                                HELP ME PLEASE

Hey no bailing allowed ;)

Ray maybe you could add a handcycle to the stable while the leg heals up!  How did that work out for you Greg?
Anyway Bud I already printed a card for you, you gotta come!

Currently

Me
Steve
Peggy
- (Bud) too cold
Greg
George Elizondo
Jeff Elmer
Jorge Ruiz
+/- (Dan Driscoll) may be in Houston.
Bob Hammond
(Ray) in wagon / on handcycle.

Take Care,
Nelson.

Hey Ray I got a rowbike you could try that out instead of a wagon for the 201k  ;D
We'll just have to sling your bad foot instead of using the brace

the handcycle worked GREAT, actually.  It's what convinced me to purchase the rowbike currently sitting in my garage.  It's in need of some tlc, but if you can get around enough to work on it, I could bring it to you, Ray,

Greg, I really appreciate the offer.  I have a Dr. appt. this Thursday, where I hope for a referral to physical therapy where I can progress with light workouts.  Pretty good considering it will be two weeks when I go to the doctor since my surgery, and they said normal "non weight bearing" is a minimum of six weeks.  I'm trying not to get too over excited, instead I'm taking the smart road for the first time in my life.

I may regret cancelling the XS.
