Title: Velo Venus 109K ride Post by Strada177 on Nov 11th, 2008, 3:34pm Bud & I are planning to ride the Velo Venus 109k(67.7 miles) rado route this Saturday at 7:30am. The weather this Saturday is predicted to be a little cool(OK cold)& windy. The plan is to ride this route at a faster pace(18+mph).

It's across the street from the new Bicycles Inc, probably 200 feet from where Rose works. There's a cue sheet here (http://www.bikely.com/cuesheet/route/Velo-Venus-9-17-08).

The tour of Twelve Cities was my next option. It looked liked a lot of busy roads in Arlington.

Cool is relative.  Just take a look at weather.com, US map.   Look at the temperatures our brethern Rando riders across the country will be riding in.  Tomorrow will be a beautiful day, and just look skyward and thank God that you're able to ride  ;) Plus, the tempts for next Saturday's Spanish Fort are projected to be warmer than this Saturday.

Park at Bicycles Inc., southeast corner of I-20 and SW Green Oaks Blvd, Arlington.  The start/finish control is the McDonalds across the street.  McDonalds has been giving us receipts without a purchase.
