Ok...I think I'm going to try my first organized ride at the Denton Turkey Roll.

A big definite maybe. It all depends on the weather. It can be nice like today or cold and rainy. Fortunately pre-registration goes through the 20th so I don't have to decide yet.

Did it last yr and had a great time!

I try to do it every year. One year when it was 30 degrees, I skipped it.

Mark and I did this together last year. Peggy and Terry also did it. Mark and I had a lot of fun, so I know it's a good route. Yjere's only one iffy spot on the 60 miler that I recall.

There is also a 35 and a 20. I'm definitely not going to attempt the 71 mile route. I know that I can do the 20, but I'll probably decide that morning whether I think I'm up for the 35.

I may head up depending on my wifes work arrangements I may be riding to/from so will decide when I get there how I feel and how long a course I want to do also.

Ahh yes the 10'ft gravel section, I remember it well.

Last year it was 71, actually 70.5 going by the Garmin. Very good ride and if I recall fairly flat with no steep hills.

I think this is the last big payride of the year. We had a good time last year. I might be rilling my EZ Tandem. Otherwise its the Baron.
