Jim, Ken, Bob, Tom & Jerry started their four state tour on October 11 at 10:00 from Lake Hawkins, Tx. We peddled east to Vivian, La. , then we headed north tell we got to Hope , Ak., then we headed west to Idabel, Okla. The last leg October 19 was south back to Lake Hawkins. :)
Total miles about 427 over 9 days :P
Only two flat tires total :o
Only one day of misty rain, the other 8 days were beautiful. Couldn't ask for better weather :)
We spent two nights in Motels, two nights in churchs and the rest in state or city parks.
rbents used: 2 - trikes, 1- gold rush, 1 - thunder bolt lighting, 1- bachetta
Everyone had a great time and I am looking forword to doing it again next year. :) :)
Anyone interested in one week tour, get your gear together and come join us next year.

I think i have a new goal for next year!

That trip must have been a blast, heck yawl were just about 8 miles from my house when you were in Hawkins, Any of you guys live close to Quitman texas?

Im going to start working harder so i can be ready for the trip, make the Super Cruzer earn its name : )

Cookie,

Make that 3 flats. I had another about a mile after I left you. So I called the wife to pick me up with about one mile to go.

It was one of those "hair wires" off of those truck tires that I could not find the night before. I had to take the tire off the trike and turn it wrong side out to find it using a magnifying glass after I got home.

Hello Bob, how you feeling?? Does that picture with us climbing the bridge looks like we were heading to the Moon. :)
