Title: A "Sadowski" on July 5, 2008 Post by jcsadowski on Jul 1st, 2008, 12:50pm I am thinking of doing a "Sadowski" (Paul Named it, not me). We can start at RBM, (Richardson Bike Mart, corner of Coit and Campbell) ride down the trail to White Rock Lake, around the lake for 35 miles. Those wishing a shorter route they can meet us at the trail head for 24 miles. This will be a slow ride. Newcomers to RBENT are especially invited to come get acquainted. Any Takers? JohnS |

Title: Re: A "Sadowski" on July 5, 2008 Post by jman on Jul 3rd, 2008, 6:35pm I know only a few of us have replied, but it will be fun to get back out with some of the group again. For the new folks, bring your tan protection :D and water. CU Sat. :D Since it looks like I am the only rider in this neck of the woods driving over for the fun, I wanted to carry my Tango Outside not crammed in the back seat and passenger seat :) ---- Got a call from Urbanrider who is riding to Grapevine to join up with a couple of bent riders. So looks like I get to ride in a group of bents minus the 60 mile round trip drive in the old car :) Er str meeting up at Freeport Pky and 635 at 8AM so any on this side of the pond who would not ride because of the miles to RBM joi9n Urbanrider and me. |

Title: Re: A "Sadowski" on July 5, 2008 Post by Richard on Jul 11th, 2008, 8:44pm JohnS, RichardC, Johnvee, and Marion, (Vision, Corsa, Actionbent, Corsa) left RBM shortly after 8:00AM. Opus where were you? The ride down to the lake was cool and very enjoyable in the morning air. We stopped at the 7-11 for a snack and cogetation. We were unable to solve the worlds problems. The ride back was a bit toasty but not too bad. There were lots of bikes and peds all along the trail. John has some pics. The bridge at Valley View is in fact functional and other changes to the trail around the lake are progressing nicely. We ate sandwiches and watched some of the tour at ??? restaurant at Coit and Campbell after the ride. I always enjoy this ride. For the medium to slow riders, it is an ideal ride. Only about 15 minutes from my house. Great to meet Donovan finally. RichardC |

Sorry about that I hope in time your body will adjust to it. Meds can be tricky, I have so many to take and at certain times of the day or deal with the side effects. Hang in there. |
