Well I didn't do a super hot and windy century in Celina or do a century while still recovering from lung cancer and surgery, but those tough folks inspired me while riding down to White Rock Lake this weekend to pick up a Classic Bridgestone RB1 with my trusty trek and my $20 trailer. It was a pretty hot and windy trip, but I figure the trailer nearly paid itself off in gas saved on this one trip. Alas the RB1 has proven to be a wee bit smaller than the advertised 51cm and I'm selling it on ebay. Hope to catch up with the rest of you animals soon.

I was pretty lucky, a pickup only ebay auction in Frisco, nobody else bid! I see them for $40-$50 on craigslist often, which was about what I expect to build one for, but I knew I couldn't beat 20 bucks.

I have one of those trailers for my kids...I can put the two little ones in there (although one likes to ride herself sometimes) and I can't even tell they're there. I love my 'bent.
