Title: Wolfe Tracks 123K
Post by Kwijybow on Nov 20th, 2007, 4:15pm

Well today's ride was way better than last Satuday's.  Despite the wind and over sleeping and missing my start time by 15 minutes I still had a great ride.  I really enjoyed being back on the corsa!  This is a nice route, highly recommended.  Very light traffic, nice scenery, and plenty of the requisite North Texas chip seal!  Look forward to doing Honey Do 200K on 12/1 which is the same route with some additional mileage before you turn around to get it out to 100K each way.  Had 20+ mph head to quartering headwind the whole way back but its much easier to deal with on the recumbent. I really like my new Ventesit seat pad as well.  Glad I spent some time the other night dialing in my position, as it doesn't compress like my old one, and I actually had to move the seat back a bit.

Take Care,
Nelson.

Sounds like a good ride, Nelson. That wind had really picked up when I rode on the Joe Pool dam this evening. Somehow, I didn't mind it.

not much action, really like the current setup for randonneuring.  Perhaps when I fully trust my home made LED generator light I'll substitute it in for the Schmidt E6.

Take Care,
Nelson.

I like the other slogan:  "Any distance is bicycling distance."
