Please consider joining me for a ride celebrating my 60th (which is actually the 15th - beware the Ides of November!)... I think I want to do the Lancaster Rally 42-mile route, departing from John's shop at 9AM, returning around 12:30ish, and having lunch there in the square. There is also an option for people to cut off in Ferris after 11 miles, to do the 24-mile route, if you wish.
We will NOT do the part after Palmer that goes into the hilly section with the wild animal farm -- instead, we will cut off onto 813 on the west side of Palmer, which is a far less hilly section, and has a good shoulder.
This will be a CASUAL PACE, NO DROP ride, but please be able to hold at least 13-14mph on the flats. We'll regroup as needed, and adjust to whatever pace works for the group. There may be some of the regular shop riders join us.
Park in the parking lot
just a block southwest of the town square -- NOT THE GAZEBO SQUARE --
See you in Lancaster? We might even stop at the Sugar Ridge winery!!!
