Thanks Jay. I have to make some new handle bars before I can put in wheel wells. The way they are built now, they hit my legs and would push through wheel wells. I need to make them with a short 1" 90 degree bend and run them straight up then. I had to put the fenders back on for now. No pattern, I saw Orin Peters and just winged it from there. It is scary fast down hill! Not so scary fast uphill.   Smiley On the flats I would say it is on par with the Mango I tried. Once I get the hood, wheel wells, and wheel covers, it should go a little faster. I didn't start for my daughter's house until 1:30 pm. It was very hot and muggy! But like Doug says, almost every car had their cell phones out taking pictures and I had about 10 nice horn honks and hundreds of thumbs up. Sure is a change from most of my rides.

Jerry #1 loaded and at my grands house so they can ride with PA. I re-taped the seams with red tape. Will finish the hood today and build in a couple more bulkheads in the front of the shell. Still need to get and install fans. I guess the fans I used in my sailboat are in storage back in MO. I am hoping I can ride it to Paris next Thursday. I found a new route that cuts 30+ miles off the trip.

And just like that, the photobucket links stop working, another reminder of why you should switch to imgur.

Ever time I take my little corvelo out for a ride, I get so many people wanting to talk about it, take videos and pictures, blow their horns and give thumbs up, yelling cool! I met a dad with two young daughters riding their bikes at the park in Sanger yesterday evening. They were so interested and cute, I let them get their pictures taken inside the corovelo by their dad. The 3 year old gave a big thumbs up in her picture. So cute. Now to get a Catrike 700 to build another corovelo.

Haha, Imgur works! Tom Nuchols is 81 years young and going to build a corovelo like this. I hope these pictures help. I will post more when I don't have to go outside with the grandsons.
