ICE Hardshell Seat Headrest
Sep 12th, 2016, 12:40pm

The stock headrest on my Performer low racer has limited adjustability, and was just plain uncomfortable when I was wearing my GIRO Air Attack Shield helmet. Considered replacing it with an ADEM headrest, but decided instead to install an ICE trike hardshell seat headrest, because no metal bending is required to adjust it, and it doesn't rattle like the ADEM does. Is compatible with my GIRO helmet and very comfortable.

ICE headrest's height and angle can be adjusted, after two screws are loosened. Additionally, the stiffness of the cushion can be adjusted via an integrated Velcro strap. The upper portion of the headrest forms a handle to aid loading, unloading, and maneuvering the bike. A split doughnut accessory permits mounting of a tail light on the headrest tubing.
