I took the Schwinn down to a friend's and back and around the block. about 2 miles. it has been 2 yrs since hip replacements and no there was no pain so it was not the seat or my long search for the comfy seat for riding a bike, but the need for new hips...but it all led me to a different type of ride (bents) which I really love!
