It's that time of year again.....
 
For those looking for a FREE place to stay for HHH100, the Lamar Baptist Church does a pretty good job -- several of us have stayed there the past few years, and they get better every year.  You bring your own air mattress and sleeping bag, etc. -- the guys sleep in the Gym, the women sleep upstairs.  They provide pizza the night before, and a nice hot breakfast starting at 5AM, with full bathroom/shower facilities -- then it's an easy 2 -3 mile ride over to the start area (or you can drive over).  Yes, you might have to ride back, but.....  
 
Here is a link to a photo file of the old reservation form -- put down RBENT group, mail it in, and they'll attempt to group us guys together on the gym floor, and the women upstairs, for what it's worth.  Don't bother guessing the number in the group...

I've decided to NOT make the trip up to HHH this year...  a combination of money, time, and only having 1500 miles total for the year so far (and only 750 on the Xstream)...  plus, I just had to drive up there for a training and back, yesterday...    I've cancelled my Lamar reservation.

I'll be there, but probably not as early as I had figured. My air conditioner at home chose last night to die.
