42mph on a Domane while aero tucked... Scariest thing I ever done on Lycra...
39mph on Corsa.  Didn't get chance to test it on same hill as th Domane.  Figure it would hit mid 40s easy

39 on catrike 700 down Renner in Richardson east of Los Rios. slight tailwind.

That's a nice little stretch.  It's part of the RBM Trikes Only Recumbent Ride on the last Saturday every month, and part of my daily loop when I lived on Shiloh Rd., Plano.

49.9 & 56 today on the hills close to my house on my Rans V2 with fairing. The hills are 13-15% overall with an 18-19% section. The hills here in east central, MO are not very high, but on the back rodes they are steep. Up the same hills back home...3-5 mph!!! That is with several stops. 28 miles round trip with about 45 hills ranging from 8% to the fore mentioned ones.

Going downhill I'm not that fast, I've donated one hip to medical science and don't care to donate the other, best is around 40-45

Fastest on the flats was this past weekend at the Bike Around The Bay in Galveston, did 84 miles with a 22.9 average, the last 40k was 24.5.  Did it back in 2010 when the course was 70 miles and finished that with a 23.6 average

The previous picture is the 18-20% hill that I hit 56 mph's. As you can see it is followed by a 13-16% hill and they are one after the other. I think I have attached another picture to this post. Forgot to add discription on the 1st one!

You want some hills?  These are some hills.  Wow.
Where is this again?  As you're suffering going uphill, you have pretty foliage to view.  This place has it all.  Even when you go downhill, very few intersections to stop you.  Very cool.   Smiley

Do I suffer up the hills? I look like a dead snail going up. And I feel like a dead horse! Smiley I can feel for the pilgrims coming through here and the Appalachian, Smokey, Adirondack, Rockie mountains and all the other places with hills in a wagon with horse or oxen. I do this for fun and exercise. They did it out of nessecity.

I did! I rode Hilltop Road yesterday to Old Alton Rd. twice. Got up to 42 mph going back down toward Country Club Rd. That is in Argyle, TX, not MO! Next up is the hills of east TX and western LA. Don't you just love hills?

Haven't been able to ride the last several days...one of the stents in the old ticker is occluded...blocked! I tried David Fort to 1830 to 407, but half way up the hill on David Fort and my chest was burning and arms were on fire. Felt real nauseated. I knew right away what was going on. Had a stent do the same thing a couple of years ago. Back to the garage for repairs!! I'll have it fixed and be back in December for a rematch.
