To be able to show photos in your post, the picture(s) first must be uploaded to a publicly shared photo website that you have a membership on, then you put the right link from that site into your post.
For example, let's say you go to
www.photobucket.com (or fotki.com, or others)... and create an account. Let's say you have uploaded THIS photo
When you upload a photo to Photobucket, they list four different link types with the photo, for different linking purposes --
a) for Email or IM,
b) "Direct Link",
c) HTML Code, and
d) IMG Code.
The "IMG Code" link is what works on this RBENT board to show the photo. If I put all four of these links into THIS email, you see what happens -- the first three just show up as links, and the fourth (the IMG Code) shows up as the photo, below:
Email or IM:

2649.jpg Direct Link:
http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae256/pbrown8js/101_2649.jpg HTML Code: <a href="
http://s977.photobucket.com/albums/ae256/pbrown8js/?action=view¤t=101_
2649.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="
http://i977.photobucket.com/albums/ae256/pbrown8js/101_2649.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
and then the IMG Code -- TAAA DAAAAA!!!
