I'm a little lopsided on that since I'm always trying to buy myself some performance   ;D.  I onl have two bikes but they probably cost as much as Bud's 7!

Greg, are you saying Bud's a 'bent pimp?  DJ

I'd almost be tempted but it probably is a regular size one. Plus I mean I already got a Giro 26 I'd hate to get the same style/type of bike in TI (although I do love my merlin).

Ok so now that I saved 3k. What can I get for my giro 26. ;D
Hmm. aerospokes, q-rings,aerotrunk well under 3k. So I'm actually saving myself 2k getting stuff for my giro 26 instead of buying the TI-Aero not spending 1k or so on the giro 26?
;)

For those who really have the discerning taste, this is not the same $4k Ti Aero that I have and you usually see.  It doesn't have carbon cranks, doesn't have the M5 seat, etc...

However, the frame, when purchased separately cost approx $2900, so I agree this is a steal.

Hmmmm, tempting.  Ray, do you know off the top of your head how the components on this bike would compare to the stock components on my Corsa?

Hi Robert,

First, I was talking about you last night with Mark H. (aka EVBLAZER).  We hope you enter, and win the time trial this Saturday (sorry Greg).

I can't tell by looking at the pictures what the components specs are.  Anyone who is interested should send the seller an e-mail asking all the pertinent questions (year of bike, specific components, prior owners, etc).

I sent the seller an email yesterday asking about frame size, age, etc.  He knows nothing about it, claims it was his uncle's who has passed away.  I've asked him to put up some additional pics.

I entered the TT some time ago, which means I'll start first and get to watch everyone pass me!  At least that way I get to say Hi to someone.  No way I'm beating Greg or Mark, though I'll certainly try.  Actually I consider it a success if I get passed further from the start than I did the previous race.
You, Nelson, Steve and Paul need to do this thing and give these other guys some competition.

I'm afraid it's a bit too pricey for me, at the moment...  It might be interesting to combine it with a longer group ride up in that area after the TT is done, but it's prohibitive for just 12 miles...  Sorry, Kevin!!!

The add says the location is "White Rock Lake".  I wonder if this bike came from the same estate that had that big parts sale a few months ago (where Mr Gross scored the Volae).

I do desire a performance high racer for fast club rides.  But like you guys this purchase would be a strech for me right now.

There seems to be many instances of the uncle's or father in laws.... around here lately.  The Tour Easy in Ft. Worth was evidently part of an estate where the guy had a ton of bikes, both road bikes and bents.  The Tour Easy looked brand new, but they did not want to come to my price, just as well since I purchased the GRR at my price plus a 1.5 tanks of gas.
